The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a set of updated playing conditions for One Day International (ODI) cricket, which will come into effect from the start of next month. These changes aim to further enhance the balance between bat and ball and ensure the format remains engaging for spectators.
The updates include adjustments to powerplay rules, fielding restrictions, and regulations regarding over-rates. The ICC stated that these changes were formulated after extensive consultation with member boards, players, and match officials.
